Note: -guys this is the fix for optimizing app issue on any android phone.now as far as what i know about this issue, this issue is caused due to many reasons such as a corrupt file in your boot. When the android system is "optimising apps/system", it will be creating an optimised version of each application. this process makes each app start as fast as possible with the new android version. when an .apk file. I recently flashed the official cm12 build using recovery to my yu yureka device. there's a new issue that i've encountered. everytime i boot my device , just after boot animation, "android is upgrading...starting apps" shows up.it does its animation for about 10 seconds to resume the boot afterwards..
Hey guys, my phone is stuck in "android is upgrading. optimizing application 1 of 1" and all i can do is 1. apply sdcard/update.zip 2. reboot system now ( does not work coz it brings me back to optimizing apps ) 3. apply update from external storage 4. wipe data / factory reset 5. wipe cache partition 6. apply update from cache. First, please understand that the android “optimizing apps” process is completely normal, and occurs in order for your device to rebuild the dalvik-art runtime environment after an update, factory data reset, or other modification to the android os.. Re: continuous restart and optimizing apps i have this issue and have gone through the 'solution' provided, reset the phone 3 times now, it wont even clenly get through the initial startup after reset before it turns off again..
