Acer Aspire 4732z Windows XP Vista 7 8 Drivers

Acer officially provide all support for windows XP Vista and 7 for this model. I re-make the lists base on Installation order, compatibility and add few installation instruction. Version listed here is for windows 7 , Version for windows XP and Windows Vista you can check on the download link URL. There are some changes for the driver name where I replace the basic name such as "intel VGA" to specific hardware name "Intel 4 Series".

Reference: x86 = (32-bit) and x64 = (64-bit)

Webcam : There are 2 webcam drivers, choose base on your specification or you can test both drivers. Installing wrong driver will not harm your system (for webcam only). Basically it is a Sonix camera device (0.3 MegaPixel).

Acer didnt release Windows 8 support for this model. So, if you want to upgrade to Windows 8, please upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8 and avoid fresh installation. If you are using Windows XP/Vista or other operating system you may need to do fresh Windows 8 installation. Now for the drivers, since ACER didnt provide the drivers for windows 8, we must get the driver from the device Vendor itself:

IMPORTANT
Note : You can also try your windows 7 drivers in windows 8, I believe some of the will work. You can install using compatibility mode or manual installation. If you have a good internet connection, run windows automatic updates, it will install the latest driver available.

1. Audio
Conexant Audio driver (Conexant Hermosa 5051)
Windows 8 (32/64-bit) : Automatically Installed
By default windows will install High Definition Audio.

2. Chipset
Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset
Windows 8/8.1 (32/64-bit) : Download (Intel website)
Select SetupChipset.exe from the list. Download and install.

3. Camera/Webcam
Use Windows 7 Drivers, if installation failed re-install again using compatibility mode.

4. Card Reder
Realtek card Reader drivers (Model RTS5159)
Windows 8/8.1 (32/64-bit) :
Download (Realtek website) or Download (Softpedia)

5. LAN
Atheros LAN Driver (AR81XX)
Version 2.1.0.7 (6MB) :
Windows 8/8.1 (32/64-bit) : Download (direct from ACER)

6. Modem
Automatically installed,  or you can also use windows 7 drivers.

You need to extract and install this driver manually using device manager.

11. Wireless:
Automatically Installed, if not install windows 7 in compatibility mode, or manual installation using windows 7 drivers.
